SmartTrack on Eglinton Corridor

The city of Toronto is having public consultations in June on important transit projects (SmartTrack West, Relief Line, Scarborough Subway routing).  SmartTrack is an important consultation on possible routes along the Eglinton corridor.  I had the ability to attend a meeting and have summarized some of the options.

I have a voice again

Over the last five weeks I finally allowed myself to begin to write again.  Although the topic was personal and emotionally draining, it did seem to get my creativity and motivation to awaken again.

One Year Ago...

He would have been turning one.  There would have been a cake and hats and presents.  There would have been family and friends, laughter and memories captured in pictures.  He would have been fascinated with a single candle that Steph and I would have valiantly protected his tiny fingers from.

Race, racism and other prejudices

I know what you are thinking, do I really want to read this dribble about racism from a white, North American male?  I completely understand that the opinions we should all be listening to are those who face such injustices daily.  I can be honest in saying that I understand the narratives from my lived experiences.  Take this as you will, all opinions have merit, even mine.  I have stayed quiet and listened for quite some time and felt I wanted to say something, anything against racism.  I may rarely be the victim but all too often the witness
